Yes, we accept EFTPOS payments — both in-store and on delivery where applicable.

Performance Modchips does not see or store credit card information. We use a third-party payment processor (Square and Commbank) that specializes in credit card security.

We will sometimes ask clients for personal information such as name, e-mail address, or phone number. Providing us your information will simply help us locate your account, provide technical support, and answer your questions. Performance Modchips will take all appropriate steps to keep your personal information confidential. Those steps include limiting access to client information databases, communicating this policy statement to all Performance Modchips employees, establishing and enforcing penalties for violation of this statement. We do not sell, rent, or give away personal information to other companies. We stand by the quality of our work, which is why we offer a 6-month warranty on both parts and labour. If anything goes wrong during that time, we’ll do our best to resolve it quickly and efficiently. Just keep your repair receipt handy, as we may need it to process any warranty claims. Please note: to ensure your warranty remains valid, the device must not be altered, and the warranty seals should remain intact. Unfortunately, damage from drops, cracks, or liquid exposure will void the warranty.

We believe in our ability to fix most consoles, which is why we offer a 'No Fix, No Fee' policy. That means if we can’t repair your console, you don’t pay a thing (except return shipping of your device). Luckily, most of the consoles we see are fully repairable, so we’re confident we can get you back to gaming in no time.

Due to PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy, we are unable to process payments for any items related to system "modifications" using their platform. If an item is eligible for PayPal payment, the option will appear at checkout. However, if your cart contains a product that doesn't comply with PayPal’s guidelines, the PayPal payment option will be disabled for all items in that order. We don’t charge a diagnostic fee, and we’re happy to provide you with a rough estimate based on the symptoms you describe. We want to make sure you feel confident and informed from the start!.

If your USB drive has snapped, don't worry just yet—there's still a chance to get your data back, depending on how bad the damage is. Often, it's just a matter of jumping the required data lines and recovery is still possible. If the chip (where the data is stored) is broken or damaged, then recovery is not possible. We can walk you through the first steps of checking the damage and help decide if going ahead with the recovery is viable, please contact us. .

No, we do not repair mobile phones, however if you are a mobile phone repair shop and require a specific board level microsoldering task, please contact us.

Once your job is complete, we’ll send you an invoice. You can easily settle the payment in one of the following ways which are at the bottom of the invoice: Online EFT: Simply make a secure payment through your online banking. Prefer to pay by card?
